Got a job interview tmr. Hopefully the prospect is not too skimpy or small. I really do wish to join a big firm cause i had enough of small ones. It's not that I'm superficial or what like what my boss always hints me.
Once, they ask me to go for attachment in IMM for 1 mth. considering that I stay in SK. they must be crazy lor. The journey would take ard 2hours leh! then i rejected her. then she say things like if u join the big firms u also have to go to tuas area blah blah one mah. Then I told her but they give me higher pay than here what. Then she said things like if u only think that way u wont go far. And told me to mark her words lah. The way she said it wasn't like those joking or nice preaching type. It's totally like 'Walao Eh' type.
But that happen quite sometime ago lah. Then the recently, they had an intern girl coming in for an interview. Then she was like saying it out loud to another boss 'You see ppl know how to think. She wants to go into a small firm so she can learn more because in big firms it's more speciallized. She's so sensible, not like those ppl blindly want to get into big 4 audit firms. ' I dont know how people interpret it but i take it as an insult to me. I did what I always did best lor, ignore her and carry on with my own stuffs. Sometimes, she just dont give face one. Blabber and blabber non stop. Since last time until now.
Last time, when I just started accounting with them, she can call her friend right beside me and say to her cellphone 'Eh I just got a new girl. But her learning curve is very slow leh. How long usually does the learning curve takes ah?'
Until finally one day I buckle up and do things real fast. But then they already gave me the sack already. Just serving my one month notice which i fight for. Cause I went for this holiday, then right when I come back that very night, they called to say they dont need me anymore, dont even need notice period. Until i emailed and called MOM to fight for 1 mth notice. But anw ah, after that buckle up incident then they decide to give me a performance bonus.
